Job Overview:
The Odoo Functional Consultant is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing Odoo ERP solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, configure Odoo applications, provide training, and ensure successful adoption and utilization of the system.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their business processes and needs.
Analyze client requirements and translate them into Odoo solutions that enhance their business operations.
Solution Design and Implementation:
Configure and customize Odoo modules to fit client specifications.
Develop functional specifications for custom developments and integrations.
Collaborate with technical consultants to ensure customizations and integrations are implemented correctly.
Training and Support:
Provide comprehensive training to clients on how to use Odoo applications effectively.
Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure client satisfaction and system optimization.
Create user manuals and documentation to assist clients in understanding system functionalities.
Project Management:
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Conduct regular project status meetings with clients and internal teams.
Ensure adherence to project budgets and scopes.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest developments and features in Odoo ERP.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance system efficiency.
Provide feedback to the Odoo development team for potential enhancements and new features.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or in a similar role implementing ERP systems.
In-depth knowledge of Odoo modules and their functionalities.
Experience with business process analysis and mapping.
Skills:
Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as accounting, inventory management, sales, human resources, and manufacturing.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Proficiency in using Odoo ERP system and related technologies.
